Institutional Goals

Based on the Vision-Mission of the Institution and the Enhanced Basic Education Curriculum K to 10 (DepEd Order # 31, 2012), the institution has the following objectives:

GRADE SCHOOL DEPARTMENT OBJECTIVES

The Grade School Department aims to prepare the learners for the secondary level by developing them to become integrated persons living the Christian faith and acquiring the necessary skills using current educational strategies following the Preventive System of St. John Bosco.

At the end of the course, the pupils should be able to:

  1. inculcate spiritual and civic values that develop young citizen’s love of God, country and fellowmen;

  2. make them fully aware of their rights, duties and responsibilities at home, in school, in the Church and in the community where they belong;

  3. recognize and appreciate who they are and what they can do together as a Bosconian community and how they can become servant-leaders in society;

  4. expose them to different kinds of people, situations and events that may shape the way they think, feel and do things according to the teachings of Don Bosco;

  5. develop good thinking and communication skills that make them function effectively as persons;

  6. acquire basic knowledge, attitudes, habits and skills in every subject area which they can use in facing various life situations in this complex and highly technical society.

JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL DEPARTMENT OBJECTIVES

The Junior High School Department aims to provide holistic learning experiences which will develop higher intellectual operations, manifest proficiency in expressing opinions, ideas and values on global issues both in oral and written medium. It furnishes the students with skills essential for the Senior High School level

At the end of the course, the pupils should be able to:

  1. provide an integral faith formation rooted in the teachings and values of Christ, taught by the Catholic Church, inspired by the charism of St. John Bosco and guided by Mary Help of Christians;

  2. develop intellectual ability, critically, analytically and creatively in life situations;

  3. demonstrate communicative competence both in oral and written;

  4. deepen scientific knowledge and technological skills by enriching their capabilities for personal and communal growth;

  5. uphold the values of nationalism, patriotism and love for the Filipino culture and traditions;

  6. intensify one’s abilities and giftedness in arts, music and sports;

  7. participate actively in the life and mission of the Church by becoming instruments of social transformation.
